Featured Speaker: Bob Sornson
Dr. Sornson is nationally recognized for developing the Early Learning Success Initiative, and works with schools and community organizations across the country to train teachers and parents. He is the author of many books and articles on early learning success, including Creating Classrooms Where Teachers Love to Teach, The Juice Box Bully, and Preventing Early Learning Failure.
The Parenting Conference is focused specifically toward inspiring and equipping families to flourish holistically and foster healthy individuals who are encouraged and supported to reach their maximum potential.
This conference is presented by Advocacy Network for Children, All Our Kids (AOK), Early Childhood Networks and Adams County Children’s Mental Health Partnership and will be held at First Union Congregational Church in Quincy.

Non-profit leaders and social workers from our community will lead 10 breakout sessions over 1.5 hours on Saturday covering a variety of valuable topics for all parents.
The kid’s program will include a combination of fun and education with area university students in childhood education leading creative ways to teach kids about healthy family dynamics. The programming throughout the conference will be supplemented with breaks for breakfast, snacks, refreshments, and mingling.

The cost to participate in The Parenting Conference is $20 per person and $25 per couple. Vouchers for free admission will be available for families that demonstrate need by application.
